Today was a reminder of why education and mentorship matter so much in this industry. We met with every junior and senior cosmetology student at Warren County Technical School — reviewing resumes, portfolios, and having real conversations about their future. There is currently a waiting list of over 50 students trying to get into the cosmetology program, and it truly shows. These students are incredibly talented, and their instructor, Tina Giraldi-Lynch, has done an excellent job preparing them with the skills and knowledge they need even before stepping into a salon. It was a long day, but an important one.
